On-Campus Connections for Veteran Students
Veteran students at the University of New Haven benefit from many connections on campus, including a dedicated veteran student group.
Military Veterans of the University of New Haven
This student group was formed to both support current University of New Haven veteran students and encourage a “veteran friendly” campus to attract new veteran students. Their purpose is to create a community of veterans who will use their knowledge and experiences to educate the university community and advocate on behalf of student veterans.
Military & Veteran Center
The Military & Veteran Center is open and available for all student veterans and military affiliated students on campus including dependents.
The newly renovated and furnished center is located in Sheffield Hall (ground floor) and serves as common place for students to study, gather for club meetings and relax. There are two computers with access to printing, a microwave and refrigerator available to student veterans to use during breaks between classes. The “Vet Lounge” is a great place to meet fellow veterans and find out about veteran programming on campus and within the community.
